Something About Honda Civic EG6

EG6 was produced between 1992 and 1995 as most sportive model of fifth generation of Honda Civic models. Still many people and drivers find it most beautiful of all Civic generations. That's why it is still so popular and valuable. It's curved shapes were a revolution, nothing like previous 4th Civic generations. It's also popular in tuning scene because of it's light body and many possibilities that comes with it.
EG6 has an inline 4 cylinder DOHC 1.6 liter engine with variable valve timing - VTEC. It has b16a2 engine which produces 160 hp. In it's time it was the NA (Naturally aspired) engine with most horsepowers on a liter capacity - 1 hp for every 10 cubic centimeters of engine volume. Engine revs up high, redline comes exactly at 8200 rpm. Engine is very economical for it's performance. Driving below 5000rpm brings a nice ride, no signs of 160 horsepowers under the hood. It all changes above 5000rpm when Vtec kicks in and valves start to do their optimal job, bringing all of the 160 horsepowers.
